Carpets are one of the important components in the home decoration of us Iranians. One of the prides of our beloved country is having unique handwoven carpets. Therefore, it is natural that its cleanliness is of particular importance to us. We use three methods to wash carpets and rugs, which we will explain below.
Traditional carpet
One of the things that most of us Iranians do at least once a year is to wash our carpets and rugs. In the past, people used to wash carpets and rugs manually, sometimes alone and sometimes in groups. This type of carpet washing is called traditional carpet washing.
You need to know that washing the carpet too much is not the right thing to do and it causes damage to its threads and fibers. Especially if this work is done incorrectly and with inappropriate detergents.
Modern carpeting
With the passage of time and the advancement of science and technology, faster and more practical ways were found to wash carpets. And with the advent of modern methods, people no longer use the traditional method to wash their carpets. Today's machine life and people's busy schedules do not allow them to wash carpets by hand. On the other hand, washing carpets manually takes a lot of energy from people and causes physical problems for them.
Full automatic carpeting
Today, there are machines for washing carpets, which do this as a standard. Fully automatic carpet washing without damaging the carpet and with a better quality than human labor.
This washing method has different parts and stages, in which suitable facilities and equipment are used for washing the carpet.
Detergent
According to the variety of types of carpets, such as carpets, machine-made carpets, hand-woven carpets, the method of washing them will be different. Carpets are used. Sometimes, in order to whiten the roots and increase the shine of the carpet, it is soaked in sodium hypochlorite. In the past, laundry powder was used to wash carpets, which caused the carpet to turn yellow. But Nowadays, proper detergents and color stabilizers are used in reliable carpet cleaners.
