History of Akbar Chicken
Akbar Chojeh is the name of a restaurant chain and the nickname of Ali Akbar Kalbadinejad, the founder of these restaurants and the inventor of this dish. This name has now become the name of a Mazandarani dish.
This restaurant was not a restaurant at all in the beginning and was originally a coffee house on the way. Of course, this coffee house was established in 1323 by Haj Mr. Kalbadi and his wife in a rented place.
Anyway, Akbar Joja underwent many changes during its activity. Akbar Chojeh was formed for the first time in Galugah, which is one of the cities of Mazandaran province of Iran and in the eastern region of Mazandaran province. Since Mr. Kolbadinejad's hands and claws were completely golden in the field of cooking, this restaurant quickly prospered in the continuation of its activity and became famous throughout Iran due to the travelers who ate in this restaurant. .
Mr. Akbar Khan Kalbadi, who saw that his work is profitable and that people appreciate his style of cooking chicken, with the help of his brother, opened Akbar Chicken branches in different parts of Mazandaran and Golestan provinces. The history of Akbar Chicken is full of ups and downs, but if we don't go beyond the truth, this restaurant has more ups than its downs.
Why Akbar Chicken became famous, in the history of Akbar Chicken, we will understand that there are various reasons. Yes, but definitely the most important reasons are that, first of all, this coffee house is located on the road to Mashhad, which made it very crowded.
On the other hand, the excellent quality and quantity and fair price of Akbar Joche's food was the reason for truck and bus drivers to keep this coffee house, which had already become a canteen, for lunch next to it. . Anyway, Mrs. and Mr. Kolbadi were busy cooking breakfast and midway food in order to earn more money from this coffee house with minimal facilities. The breakfast that they offer included: tea, local cheese, sheep's butter, local eggs, omelets and delicious breads known as Kembe.
Mr. Kolbadi, who was known as Haj Akbar, due to the great reception of his customers, in addition to offering breakfast, he also started cooking chicken and egg chalo. It seems that we are approaching the exciting part of this story because it was from that time that Haj Akbar's name was associated with his delicious chickens. In the Haj Akbar coffee house, the most famous food that was offered was the special chicken chalo, whose fans were the drivers, and the rest of the food in this coffee house was also cooked for people with low incomes and apprentice drivers. They were delicious and their most important advantage and ability was that their quantity was so much that it would fill them up.

The creation of the new road made Akbarjoje's customers increase day by day and the cooking work increased from 20 presses a day to 2 thousand presses a day. As a result, Haj Akbar and his wife decided to build a bigger restaurant for the comfort of their customers and the prosperity of their business. With the construction of a new building and the popularity of this dish, big pots replaced small pots and it was from this time that Akbarjoje became its present state.
The eldest son of Haj Akbar, Mr. Hamidreza Kalbadinejad, who is now the current manager of the Sari branch, officially registered the chain of Akbar Joja restaurants in 1364, and with the establishment of the first Akbar Joja branch in Sari in 1370, and another son Haj Akbar, Mr. Syros Kalbadinejad, with the establishment of the Gorgan branch in 1371 and the registration of Akbarjoja in the patent registration section, the path and goal of Haj Akbar and his dear wife with seriousness. They continued.
