Kerman or Karmania in the ancient language is one of the important provinces of Iran from a historical perspective. Kolempe cooking is more popular in some areas of the province, such as Bam. Klumpeh is a type of sweet that is prepared by mixing the dough with cardamom, cinnamon and rose water, and walnuts and dates are placed inside it. Some Kermanis make this cookie with animal oil. At the end, pistachio or sesame powder is poured on this sweet. There are different molds for making klumpeh, so you can find this sweet in different shapes and sizes in Kerman province.

Probably you have also seen the name of Qawot or Quto on the back of the glass of perfumes. If your answer is yes, you should know that this powdered sweet belongs to Kerman.
In this type of sweet, different nuts such as wheat bran, barley, sesame and medicinal herbs are combined and ground together with sugar or coffee. Qavoot is usually consumed in powder form and you can dissolve this Kerman souvenir in milk or water and drink it.
