Paper air filter (cellulose)
It is the most common type of air filter and car manufacturing companies mostly use this type of air filter for their cars. These filters can absorb 80-90% of suspended foreign particles, are cheaper and have a shorter life.
Sponge air filter
This type of filter consists of a metal frame and several layers of polyurethane oil that absorbs excess materials. This type of filter used to be used only in heavy vehicles, but today they are made in nano form and are used in passenger cars. Its most common use is for racing cars.
This filter is more expensive than the cellulose type, but cellulose filters are more suitable for city cars.
Flax air filter
These filters are composed of 6 layers of oily fabric to absorb substances. One of the features of this filter is the more effective absorption of materials and also its ability to be washed. The oil filter improves the car's breathing and air flow, and of course its price is more expensive than the previous two types, i.e. cellulose and sponge.
The life of these filters is significantly longer than cellulose and sponge.
