  4. در مواردی‌ که‌ برای‌ نصب‌ مخزن‌ انجام‌ جوشکاری‌ در محل‌ ضروری‌ باشد این‌ جوشکاری‌ فقط‌ می‌تواند روی‌ ورقه‌های‌ لایی‌ یا دستک‎های‌ انجام‌ گیرد که‌ قبلا توسط‌ سازنده، به‌ مخزن‌ جوش‌ داده‌ شده‌ است‌.
  5. در مخازن‌ ثابتی‌ که‌ به‌ یکدیگر مربوط‌ شده‌اند باید پیش‌بینی‌ های‌ لازم‌ برای‌ مقابله‌ با انبساط، انقباض، لرزش‌ یا نشت‌ کردن‌ مخازن‌ و لوله‌های‌ مربوط‌ کننده‌ آنها بعمل‌ آمده‌ باشد. استفاده‌ از لوله‌های‌ غیر فلزی‌ برای‌ مرتبط‌ کردن‌ مخازن‌ ثابت‌ به‌ یکدیگر بکلی‌ ممنوع‌ است‌.
