Oil Jack Repair Steps:
1. Primary Troubleshooting
-Doesn't Jack go up? -Is it oil leakage while rising? -Is it low under pressure? -Does the lever or pedal work correctly?
2. Discharge and Cleaning
-Put the jack in the sleeping position. -Open the oil drain and drain the old oil. -Wipe the bodies and pieces with a clean cloth and some gasoline or thinner.
3. Open Jack
-Open the cylinder connection screws. -Remove the piston, springs, gaskets and lions. -Check which pieces of worn or damaged (gaskets, O-Rings, defective spring, dirty milk dirt)
4. Replacement of Washers and Orings
-Use a special repair kit the same Jack model. -Replace all rubber gaskets and O-Rings, even if they look healthy.
5. Fill the new oil
-Use jack hydraulic oil (such as ISO VG 32 or Mineral Brake Oil). -Open the oil coil and fill the oil as much as possible.
6. Veteran
-Lower the jack up and down several times to get the air bubbles out of the system. -If the oil again if needed.
7. Final Test
test the jack under the load and make sure it works properly and has no leakage.
