Car glass is used as an insulator between the car cabin and the outside space of the car. This sensitive part, with all its elegance, is produced in different types, shapes and dimensions and is used in the automotive industry. It can even give a special beauty to the car. This product is also produced in Iran with international standards, which honestly have good quality. It should be noted that individual car windows are different from one car to another and are exclusively related to the design of that car.
✳️ Types of car glass
In the course of time, after studying the disadvantages of ordinary glass used in the automobile industry and seeing the dangers caused by them, scientists tried to use a type of multilayer glass to increase the car's safety factor. The most important feature of this type of glass is its fracture pattern. These glasses are called laminate. Due to the high security of this type of glass, the windshield of all cars in the market is laminated or laminated with a high percentage of safety. "Laminated glass"
Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that is made using a talc polymer layer (polyvinyl butyral) P.V.B, which is placed between two or more layers of glass, during a pressure and temperature process. This talc layer is made with different thicknesses. Laminated or laminated glass, due to pressure, heat and intense heat or a sudden and severe impact during an accident or a hard physical impact, is integrally broken, and its pieces stick to its polymer layer and are not thrown around, causing financial and life damage. The windshield is of this type of glass. The outer layer of the glass also cracks due to heat and sudden cold.
"Tempered or unbreakable glass"
The side (side) and rear windows of cars are usually made of tempered (unbreakable) material.
The production process of this type of glass starts by heating it at a temperature of 700-800 degrees Celsius, and after it is heated, it is cooled down quickly with high air pressure, and finally, it increases the surface strength of the glass. With this process, the glass becomes very resistant and does not break easily due to impact.
With a very strong blow to the tempered glass, the glass is completely crushed and turns into small non-breaking pieces with rounded edges to reduce the amount of damage to the passengers.

✴️ Application of secure and laminate glass in the automotive industry ✴️
In the automotive industry, only laminated glass is used for the windshield and it has a global standard. Side windows and rear windows in most cars are made of tough and unbreakable materials. Of course, it should be noted that in some luxury cars, such as the Volvo XC90 or the Genesis sedan, laminated glass is used for door and hatch windows, which are more secure and of course more expensive than tempered glass. It should be noted that the car windows are supplied in solar and normal form.
