Introduction:
Phenpyroxymate is a non-systemic, highly penetrating, contact and digestive acaricide from the phenoxypyrazole group that uses electron transfer. It inhibits mitochondria, so it is effective on ticks resistant to organophosphorus compounds, carbamates and pyrethroids. In addition to weakening the growth of tick eggs, this poison destroys all stages of pore and maturity with a quick shock effect. This acaricide reduces the population of nymphs at the beginning of the season. The adult mite starts its activity when the bud of the leaf is swollen, and consumption at this time reduces the population of eggs.
