Due to the non-necessity of using antibiotics, we can be sure of the health of this chicken throughout the growth period. Usually, in more advanced slaughterhouses, in order to keep the chickens cool, air chillers are used; But normal slaughterhouses put the chicken in ice water for this purpose. This normal floating of chicken in ice water will lead to water penetration in the chicken tissue.

Water penetration, while increasing the weight of the chicken, will also reduce the quality of chicken meat. As a high-quality white meat, super chicken usually weighs between at least 1,300 grams and at most 2,500 grams. The regulatory body also deals with raising and producing chicken with more sensitivity and precision; Therefore, we can use green chicken with more confidence.

According to the latest statistics, 25,000 people die every year in Europe due to antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Iran has also been declared among the 20 countries in the world and the second country in Asia in the field of antibiotic consumption. Therefore, it seems very necessary to use less food containing antibiotics. If drug resistance to antibiotics increases, we will have to use stronger and more expensive drugs.

For a chicken to be antibiotic-free, it means that it has not been given antibiotics either through food, water or injection. During the growth of chickens, the country's veterinary organization conducts tests and sampling four times (once at the beginning of growth, two times in the middle of the growth period and the last time at the end of the growth period). Chickens that have not taken any antibiotics; They will be allowed to sell as green chicken. Only then will they be given the green chicken badge. In other words, in Iran, the veterinary organization will be responsible for the official confirmation that the chicken is clean and placed in the green chicken group.
