Chemical fertilizer is any kind of mineral substance that all or part of it is produced in industrial processes in order to increase the yield and efficiency of agricultural products as well as increase soil fertility. Most fertilizers are a combination of phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium (three main and essential elements for plant growth).
Types of fertilizer in agriculture
Plants need 13 different chemical elements for growth and development; that potassium, phosphorus and nitrogen are the three main elements of this group. All kinds of chemical fertilizers in agriculture consist of these main elements and magnesium, sulfur and calcium are added to some fertilizers. These fertilizers are available to farmers in both solid and liquid forms
Liquid chemical fertilizer: Essential and necessary elements for plant growth in this type of fertilizer are soluble and the plant absorbs it faster. The effect of this type of chemical fertilizer is short-term and has a lower salt concentration. This fertilizer is usually more expensive than its solid sample.
Solid chemical fertilizer: The essential elements of these fertilizers need more time to be absorbed by the plant, but their effect is long-term. The concentration of salts in this model is higher than chemical fertilizers and they are usually cheaper than liquid fertilizers.

How to Types of Chemical fertilizers
Surface spreading: In this method, before planting the crop, fertilizer is spread on the ground with a fertilizer spreader or by hand. Hole fertilizer: By digging a hole next to the tree, the required fertilizer is given to the desired product. Irrigation Fertilizer: Water soluble fertilizers are easily provided to the tree by this method. Solution spraying: Liquid fertilizers are sprayed on the plant or tree (according to the recommended dosage and amount of use) using a sprayer.
