What is the pottery brick?
Clay bricks are made using clay, by mixing the clay with water and then molding it. After drying the clay molds in the open air, they are put into the oven to be subjected to a temperature of 40 to 200 degrees Celsius, then they are removed from the oven after two days. In general, this type of brick is produced in two ways, both traditional (handmade and molded) and modern (industrial). The final product is a cube-shaped material with regular horizontal holes. The number of holes in this brick varies depending on its dimensions, but generally they have the following specifications: 1. 5.5 cm clay brick has three holes. 2. 7 cm clay brick has four holes. 3. 10 cm clay brick has six holes. 4. 15 and 20 cm clay brick has nine holes. Note: 20 and 15 cm clay bricks are used for exterior walls and 10 and 7 cm clay bricks are used for porcelain tiles (interior walls).
Types of Pottery Brick
There are different types of clay bricks available in the market, which are as follows: Foamed clay block This new clay brick has a row of wider holes in the center of the brick, inside which foam (unolite) is placed. This foam is used for heat and sound insulation (although recent research shows that the presence of foam does not change the insulation of this block for the wall). Clay roof block This type of clay brick has larger dimensions, so that it can be used in block beam roofs instead of blocks or unilith. The advantage of using these blocks in the roof is their lightness. Ceramic bricks This brick is very similar to engineering brick, but the only difference is in its production method and technical specifications. This brick has 10 round holes and the same size in its cross section. Clay-faced brick, as its name suggests, is used for the facade of the building.

It is cheap compared to other wall covering materials. 6. Transporting it to the workshop is economical. 7. It is abundantly found and accessible everywhere. 8. It is environmentally friendly.
Price of clay bricks based on brand type Before we talk about the brands that produce clay bricks and categorize them based on price, let's talk a little about the factors influencing the price of clay bricks. Clay bricks are made by three different methods, including handmade, molded and industrial. The type of mold is very efficient and its production costs little, as a result, it has a lower price in the market. The most expensive type of clay bricks are products that are produced industrially. In any case, the most important influencing factors in the pricing of clay bricks include the following: 1. Size and dimensions 2. Ingredients in the production process 3. The level of quality in the production process 4. The color of the brick, which is often cold and red (uniformity of color) 5. Manufacturer's brand Now we market by introducing famous brands, but the point is that the more famous the brand is, the higher the price of its products will be.
