1. Pressure-sensitive adhesives:
The most widely used adhesive tapes in the market are pressure-sensitive adhesives or PSA, which are used in normal environments with the temperature of the house and in In dry state, they have the possibility of sticking.
The level of adhesion of this type of glue to different surfaces is high and they stick to the desired point only with finger pressure. These types of adhesive tapes do not need water, solvent or temperature. The suitable temperature for this adhesive is medium, between 59 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit. A temperature higher than this limit can lower the efficiency level of the glue.
2. Temperature sensitive adhesives:
This type of adhesive tape needs a temperature source to stick to the desired place. The temperature required for sticking this type of glue is 180 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.
This type of glue is also suitable for surfaces that inherently have low adhesive properties. Like rubber or plastic materials such as EPDM, PU, and PVC. The carrier or cover of this type of glue can be variable and diverse depending on the place of use.
3. Blue activated adhesives:
Blue activated adhesives or gummed tape is an adhesive material that is placed on a cover or kraft paper cover. This type of glue is activated when moisture reaches it.
This type of glue is normally completely dry and lacks adhesion or has a small amount of adhesion. Active blue adhesive or WTA is an inexpensive adhesive with high adhesion.
