One of the most widely used and portable electric motors is the diesel electric motor, which uses diesel fuel to produce electricity well. In fact, the type of operation of diesel electric motors, like diesel generators, is smaller in size and dimensions. The diesel electric engine is also called the diesel electric engine, which differentiates them from other electric engines due to the type of fuel and the internal structure of their engine.
Silent gasoline motor
Due to the type of fuel and its ignition, diesel engines are louder than gasoline engines. The noise level of the diesel electric engine is much higher and more noticeable compared to the gasoline electric engine, so that the sound of the diesel electric engine is from 65 dB to 80 dB, but the gasoline electric engine is from 65 dB to 75 It is also decibel. There are a series of places where the sound should not exceed the permissible limit, here the use of gasoline electric motors is much more suitable than diesel electric motors.
low -volume diesel power engine
Diesel electric engine manufacturers have thought about the solution to this problem regarding the noisy and loud sound of this electric engine. The first method: They have designed metal enclosures that are soundproof, which has reduced the noise of the diesel engine to some extent. Although this enclosure, which is called a canopy, makes the weight of the electric motor heavier, it will reduce its noise to an acceptable level.
The second method: to minimize the noise of the electric diesel engine, use it at a suitable distance of more than 7 meters or place it in a special chamber to reduce its noise. Keep this point in mind during the construction of the chamber, to prevent suffocation and overheating of the electric motor, place an air flow path for the electric motor to breathe.
How Diesel Power Motors Operate
Diesel or diesel generators are internal combustion engines that are divided into one or two cylinders by a piston cylinder with alternating combustion according to the number of cylinders and the frequency of combustion, and their output power is expressed in horsepower. The structure of diesel engines or diesel engines differs from gasoline engines or so-called spark ignition engines only in the fuel supply and regulation system. There are similar structures between diesel electric motors and gasoline electric motors, but the main difference is between their fuel supply system and their ignition system. The two important factors that distinguish gasoline and diesel engines in terms of fuel injection and combustion type are the following two differences:
Ignition system The main difference between diesel and gasoline engines is the removal of the spark plug from the ignition system, and there is no spark plug for ignition, and the self-explosive property of diesel is used for the combustion process. Injector pump The fuel supply system of the engine, which is responsible for pulverizing the fuel and gassing the combustion chamber, and in other words, the part that is responsible for the flow and regulation of the amount of fuel and the pressure required for fuel injection.
