Types of steel tanks

Steel tanks include different types (such as single-walled, double-walled, triple-walled, transport, etc.) and each of these tanks are used in different parts of the food industry according to their specific characteristics.

🔹 The use of double-walled and triple-walled steel tanks

Since in many cases it is necessary to keep the contents of the tank at a constant temperature and have no contact with the surrounding environment, double-walled tanks are used in various industries. In addition, in some cases it is necessary to subject the contents of the tank to heat treatment (cooling or heating). In such cases, the third wall provides the possibility of raising or lowering the temperature with the help of cold water and steam.

🔹 Appearance of steel tank

Different reservoirs can be made in different ways according to the role of the process they are responsible for. For example, spherical tanks or cylindrical tanks with convex lenses are used for processes under pressure, or cylindrical tanks with flat lenses are often used to store products or food. Also, according to conditions such as the volume of the tank, the tanks can be made with a base or earrings. Large tanks are usually without a base and are installed on a special foundation.
